MEET THE FAM...
Dr. Quiona "Q" Russell
Co-Owner
Quiona Russell, PhD affectionally known as Dr. Q is the Q in the JQ Factor. She is a trained medical physiologist and entrepreneur. Her diverse background and educational experiences were cultivated at Old Dominion University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine, her master’s degree at Howard University (Clinical Physiology) and her doctorate degree at THE Ohio State University (Cardiovascular Physiology). Upon completing her higher education matriculation, Dr. Q participated in a post doctorate program doing research and teaching medical school at the only Military Medical School in the country, the Uniformed Service University of the Health Sciences (USUHS). Her research focused on non-pharmaceutical interventions and improved health status in underserved populations.

Beyond her professional career, Dr. Q has successfully launched an entrepreneurial network, created one of a kind initiatives, and cultivated out of the box avenues to communicate complex scientific information. Her role at The JQ Factor is essential to providing quality information, selecting world class products, and enhancing customer understanding and knowledge about their own health & wellness. Dr. Q is wholeheartedly dedicated to providing “edu-tainment” which is a coined term focused on
entertaining while educating.
James "Jay" Smith
Co-Owner
James is an experienced executive with nearly 20 years of experience previously working in the National Football League. He brings a high level of professionalism and business knowledge that helps to create the elite experiences that you can expect and depend on from The JQ Factor.
As a veteran of the US Navy, organization, discipline and hard work are standards that goes into everything that Jay does. James currently sits on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations and has assisted in the business development and growth of several successful companies.
James has played a vital role in the vision and development of The JQ Factor from its inception. His skillset and expertise lends way to strong business to business partnerships, enhanced customer satisfaction, and creation of customer focused innovative resources, & programs.
